Overview

Ambrosia, known also as: Typhonia, The Amaranth Realm, and "The Jewel of Longing Eyes," is the great macrocosm in which the predominant function of Imagindarium's Creation was made manifest. Within its Amaranth tapestry, a vast storyline of innumerable combatants, torn between the forces of Light and Darkness has played out in a never-ending march towards an Ultimate End, solely determined by Ambrosia's very force of creation, Imagindarium.

For thousands upon thousands of years; countless races and beings have risen to prominence across the mortal Realm's sacred starlight, only to swiftly fall upon the coming of the next generation. A seemingly endless dance of life and death playing out across an eternal stage of thousands of years, consuming infinite lives across uncountable worlds and lands.

Greatest of Realms

Ambrosia stands as the greatest among the Trilateral Realms, surpassing all others in magnitude, influence, and purpose. Within the narrative totality of the cosmos, it is without equal; a realm whose significance transcends all temporal and spatial boundaries as the fundamental axis upon which all existence turns.

It is the singular, authorial reason for the manifestation of reality itself. Every thread of existence, every structure of meaning, and every breath of creation stems from Ambrosia's ontological primacy as an intentional act of formation that brought forth the universe and all within it. Through Ambrosia, the fabric of being from that of unbeing was defined, its laws codified, and its narrative set into motion.

The vast majority of concepts, events, and entities of greatest consequence to the Line to the End have emerged within Ambrosia. From the origin of foundational ideologies to the birth and fall of epochal figures, Ambrosia has been the primary locus of all critical developments shaping the trajectory of existence. It is within this realm that the decisive movements of the cosmic narrative unfold, and where the balance of the ultimate outcome is continuously contested.

Amaranth Legacy

Despite its prominence within the objective Line to the End, Ambrosia, in its current state, remains only a faint flicker of the former preeminence held by the macrocosm from which it emerged: Typhonia. The vastness, power, and infinitude that once defined Typhonia have been reduced to a finite and constrained echo within Ambrosia, marking it as both its continuation and a diminished Remnant of what it once was.

During the era of Typhonia, the nature of existence bore little resemblance to the structured form of the Ambrosia Galaxy as it is known today. Reality then consisted of an infinite expanse of formless Amaranth, blazing without boundary across an endless void; devoid of celestial structure, order, or orientation.

This primordial state was first inhabited by the Annuat and their then sole-lineage — the Primeveranth; omnipotent entities forged directly by the will of Imagindarium. These beings were tasked with establishing the foundational frameworks of all cosmic forces that would later become manifest in the finite age of Ambrosia. Their actions laid the metaphysical groundwork upon which the later structures of creation would be built, bridging the infinite formlessness of Typhonia with the emergent order of the present realm.

Following the eradication of the Primeveranth, the predominant host of Typhonia was brought into being by the Annuat, forged directly from the core of the Amaranth Veil. These entities, known as the Typhonians — from whom the realm derives its name — became the central actors of what is recorded in history as the Great Age Typhonia.

During this era, the Typhonians engaged in ceaseless and brutal conflict against one another, each striving to attain total creative independence and absolute dominion over the whole of existence. These wars were cataclysmic in scale, shaping the very fabric of reality. From the remains of their fallen kindred, the Typhonians forged the Edoasteri; vast constructs from which the stars themselves would later emerge in Remnant Echo, enduring long after the fall of their creators.

Amaranth Succession

Throughout the tens of thousands of years Ambrosia has remained extant within Creation, several generations of sapient beings have held sole dominion over the Amaranth Realm, as the whole of existence has changed hands throughout a never-ending cycle of generational succession. The play of Imagindarium's creation is written on the principle that no matter the force mustered, the next generation shall, and will, succeed their forbearers. This line of cosmic succession is known as the Amaranth Concatenation, so named for its absolute certainty, forged within the very fabric of creation itself.

The very first collection of beings to hold dominion over Ambrosia would be the aforementioned omnipotent Annuat; directed beings of pure creative-probability — whose sole purpose was to lay the fundamental forces of reality in place within existence so that the later generations may rise to prominence. After their purpose was fulfilled, the second generation would be forged by the Annuat directly from the Amaranth Veil, condensing the infinite well of the Fragments of Creation contained within into thousands upon thousans of sapient beings of pure magical presence and power, known to themselves as the Typhonians. For tens of thousands of years, in a period known as the Great Age Typhonia, the Typhonians were separated into two disparate factions and were locked in an eternal struggle over sole dominion over the universe.

Even after its emergence as a now finite realm, Ambrosia has borne a long and storied history marked by continuous conflict, ambition, and transcendence. Across the millennia; innumerable species, factions, empires, and singular entities have sought to claim dominion over its sacred starlight, each drawn by its central role in the unfolding of existence.

Throughout its epochs, Ambrosia has served as the cradle and crucible of numerous interstellar civilizations, many of which have risen to unimaginable heights before collapsing into legend. Among the most prominent of these was the ancient mega-civilization known as the Etymology of All-Being. At the zenith of its power, the Etymology succeeded in exerting total control over the entirety of Ambrosia, establishing a singular hegemony over the realm’s vast network of stars, worlds, and peoples.

Preceding the ascendancy of the Etymology, other primeval powers once held complete dominion over Ambrosia. Foremost among these were the Inomeni entities of the Isariel and Seraphnim, whose reigns are collectively remembered as the era of the Great Dyad. These two powers, acting in duality, each commanded supremacy over the totality of existence in their respective times, shaping the early structure and destiny of Ambrosia long before the emergence of later civilizations.

Structure

Ambrosia is composed of a vast, mythical congregation of stars, unified in a grand, unbarred spiral configuration that radiates with an ordered harmony referred to internally as a "Galaxy;" a term in which is used interchangeably with that of Ambrosia's own. This celestial structure is held by the central force known as the Realm Amaranth Veil; a gravitational and metaphysical phenomenon situated at the realm’s core.

Across the vastness of the Galaxy lies an immense and near-incomprehensible abundance of planetary bodies: billions upon billions of planets, moons, and astral formations scattered across its luminous arms. These celestial bodies host a staggering variety of geographies and climates, ranging from crystalline mountain ranges and oceanic abysses to molten wastelands and verdant jungles. The ecosystems contained within them are equally diverse, teeming with wild and exotic lifeforms across the full spectrum of complexity; from primordial organisms to hyper-sentient entities.

Each world within Ambrosia serves as a unique stage upon which the events of the greater cosmic narrative unfold. The biological and environmental variance of these planets allows for the emergence of countless civilizations, mythologies, and power structures, all interconnected by the wider fabric of the realm. The structure of Ambrosia is one born of this narrative essentiality; that each star, world, and lifeform will be woven into the intricate design of a living, mythopoeic macrocosm that forms the Totality of Creation.

Regions

Ambrosia is divided into four distinct regions, each characterized by unique qualities and governing principles. These regions differ in their defining attributes, with varying degrees of metaphysical, spatial, and narrative veracity shaping their identity and function within the greater structure of the realm.

Unity's Domain

The first of these regions is Unity's Domain, situated at the absolute galactic center and forming the central bulge of Ambrosia. This core region is defined by the presence of the Amaranth Veil, a violently unstable force/entity located at the absolute heart of the Realm. Here, the concentration of extant Amaranth is at its highest, manifesting in an environment of relentless turbulence and raw, unbounded energetic phenomena.

Unity's Domain is a zone of apparent chaos, where the overwhelming intensity of metaphysical and gravitational forces renders most forms of structure, coherence, and ontological stability ultimately impossible. The region's violent nature ensures that few entities or constructs can persist for long without succumbing to instant annihilation. It stands as both the Source and the terminus of Creation's fabric; a place where the power of the Amaranth reaches its most extreme and unmediated form.

This immense and volatile concentration arises from Unity's Domain’s inherent nature as a defined Remnant of Typhonia, the former infinite realm from which the now finite Ambrosia has emerged. It exists as the Remnant Principle, preserving the last surviving traces of Typhonia's once-boundless expanse within a confined spatial boundary.

As a result, the only extant physical entities within Unity's Domain are the sparse and fragmented relics of Old Typhonia, embodied in the form of the Edoasteri; primordial amalgams of Demised-Typhonians that once populated the whole of infinity. Now reduced to a small and dwindling number, these Remnants remain in precarious orbit around the Amaranth Veil, bearing silent witness to the lost totality of the Realm that preceded Ambrosia.

The sole exception to this condition is Póli Ton Theón, a massive megastructure constructed by the Etymology of All-Being to serve as their galactic capital, and later commandeered by the Ambrosia Alliance of United Systems following their discovery of the ancient citadel. Unlike other entities within Unity's Domain, it is equipped with a specialized Horizon-Field Generator, a unique apparatus that emulates the stabilizing properties of a stellar body.

This technology allows Póli Ton Theón to generate a protective field capable of withstanding the violent energetic flux of Amaranth which propagates across the surrounding region. As a result, it remains structurally coherent and impervious to the otherwise destructive forces of the Amaranth Veil, standing as the only sustained habitation within the core of Ambrosia.

Notable Locations

Realm of Resonance

The most prominent region in contemporary galactic affairs by a wide margin is the Realm of Resonance. Unlike the more primordial or metaphysically anchored regions of Ambrosia, the Realm of Resonance is the most distinctly artificial in character, defined not by inherent spatial or cosmological boundaries, but rather by the subjective perspective of its inhabitants, as it encompasses the traversable interstellar space most commonly accessed and occupied by extant major civilizations.

Its infrastructure and coherence are sustained through the use of Janus Gates; discovered and navigable interdimensional transit systems that enable reliable passage between otherwise distant or discontinuous sectors of space. These gates not only facilitate interstellar connectivity but also serve a critical protective function: shielding the interstellar traveler from direct exposure to the infinite and volatile presence of Amaranth, which underlies and permeates the structural foundation of the galaxy that would otherwise instantly eradicate both themselves, and their respective vessel.

As such, the exact extent of the Realm of Resonance is inherently variable, shifting in accordance with the era under discussion — though in totality — around 100,000 star systems comprise its boundaries. Its boundaries expand as new navigable Janus Gates are discovered by its denizens, continually redefining the scope of traversable space. Despite this fluxive extent, several stable sub-regions within the Realm have been formally delineated, providing a structural reference points amid its otherwise dynamic expanse.

Subconsciously, definitions of these sub-regions are largely shaped by the historical dominion of the respective Dyad Powers during the era of Dyad Rule within the Realm of Resonance. Their influence imprinted lasting spatial-cultural divisions upon the region, resulting in a division that aligns closely with the West–East Axis of the galactic atlas. This bifurcation continues to shape both perceptual and astropolitical frameworks within the Realm, persisting well beyond the fall of the Dyad Powers. In modern history, the cosmic cardinal divisions are largely defined by the presence of the Ambrosia Alliance of United Systems in the galactic West, and the Sanlagosa Concordant in the spatial East; each inheriting the legacy of their respective spheres and continuing the structural divide first established during the age of Dyad Rule.

Near-West Systems

The Near-West Systems constitute the majority of highly developed worlds and militaristic core locales within the Ambrosia Alliance of United Systems. Strategically positioned along the celestial-frontier facing the Sanlagosa Concordant, this region was established as a defensive bulwark, both symbolic and functional, against Sanlagosan incursion.

Most systems within the Near-West operate as heavily militarized strongholds; fortified bastions marked by dense constellations of orbital infrastructure. Vast intrastellar defense networks span their planetary systems, composed of automated artillery arrays, shield relays, and point-defense satellites engineered for rapid deployment. Each major world within the region maintains standing interstellar navies, permanently stationed in celestial drydocks that encircle their respective home worlds. These drydocks function as both staging platforms for immediate military response, but also as industrial centers for shipbuilding, maintenance, and extraplanetary commerce.

The Near-West Systems serve as both the ever-stalwart frontline and the political nucleus of the collective Alliance’s military-industrial complex, embodying a doctrine of perpetual readiness shaped by centuries of sustained tension and conflict. Even the most pristine, life-bearing worlds — some of which serve as the home worlds of major or founding member-states — are not exempt from this relentless march of militarization. Though their surfaces often remain outwardly unscathed, the infrastructure of war encircles them: orbital defenses, fleet installations, and command nexuses dominate their surrounding space, ensuring that no world, regardless of heritage or ecological value, stands apart from the strategic imperatives of the region.

Notable Locations
Far-West Systems

The Far-West Systems, likely contrary to the immediate assumption, are not comprised solely of remote, underdeveloped frontier worlds. In actuality, this region encompasses many of the most historically significant and politically powerful systems within the Ambrosia Alliance. A substantial number of the Alliance’s major member species maintain both their home worlds and their own respective capital systems within the Far-West, making it the Alliance's preeminent region of deep cultural heritage, administrative centrality, and economic influence.

Unlike the Near-West, which functions primarily as the Alliance’s fortified developmental barrier against the Sanlagosa Concordant, the Far-West operates as the Alliance’s internal core; an expansive zone of relative security and stability. While its systems are not as heavily militarized as those on the frontier, they are among the most advanced in terms of infrastructure, scientific institutions, and interstellar governance.

The Far-West serves as the principal engine of the Alliance’s civil administration, housing worlds which operate primarily as central councils, diplomatic courts, and research enclaves that shape policy across the entirety of the Realm of Resonance away from the confederation's capital of Póli Ton Theón. Its worlds, though largely distanced from direct conflict, remain fully integrated into the larger strategic framework, often providing logistical support, economic resources, and personnel to sustain the ongoing operations along the border regions.

Notable Locations
Near-East Systems

In stark contrast to the heavily fortified Near-West Systems that border them, the Near-East Systems are comparatively underdeveloped in terms of military infrastructure. Controlled by the Sanlagosa Concordant for the vast majority of contemporary history, this region functions primarily as a network of species-specific colonies, with a focus on cultural preservation, resource extraction, and localized governance rather than strategic defense.

The Near-East serves as a peripheral expanse of the Concordant's territorial holdings, where centralized military oversight is limited and planetary systems operate with a greater degree of autonomy. While not devoid of defense capabilities, the region lacks the dense interstellar fortifications and standing fleets characteristic of its western counterpart. Its development has historically centered on internal cohesion and civil expansion, rather than preparation for large-scale external conflict.

Additionally, due to the Sanlagosa Concordant’s preferential alignment with the collective Sanlagosan races, the inner core of Concordant space — particularly the worlds across interstellar space surrounding its capital, Sanctum Sovereign in the Far-East Systems — is marked by extremely high levels of development. Conversely; the Near-East Systems have been deliberately designated by the Concordant as an expansive peripheral zone reserved for constituent member species outside the Sanlagosan core. This distribution of development primarily is used to reinforce the internal stratification of the Concordant, with the Near-East operating as a spatial buffer that is culturally diverse, politically subdued, and militarily secondary.

Following the fall of the Sanlagosa Concordant, the Near-East Systems came under the near-exclusive control of the preeminent member civilizations of the Ambrosia Alliance of United Systems. This region had long been coveted by the Alliance, regarded as a vital strategic and cultural prize. However, throughout the era of the Concordant’s dominance, the Alliance was unable to assert control, as the Concordant's power rendered any direct challenge unfeasible. Only with the Concordant’s collapse did the Alliance finally gain the opportunity to establish its authority over the Near-East, consolidating its influence in a region previously beyond its reach.

Notable Locations
Far-East Systems

The Far-East Systems had long been the representative and historical/cultural heartland of Sanlagosan power within the galaxy, with it serving as the formative expanse in which the Concordant would be forged. This region, distinguished by its concentration of monumental worlds, has long served as the principal seat of authority for the Sanlagosa Concordant. The collective planets of the Far-East are renowned for their breathtaking architectural and mechanical achievements; legacies inherited from the Seraphnim, the region’s ancient progenitors and original rulers.

Throughout most of contemporary galactic history, the Far-East stood as the preeminent region within the Realm of Resonance and even beyond it, exerting unparalleled influence and power over political, technological, and cultural developments. Its worlds are marked by colossal cityscapes, awe-inspiring megastructures, and intricately engineered landscapes that blend advanced technology with ancient design principles.

In addition to its role as a center of innovation and administration, during the tenure of the Concordant's reign, the Far-East had functioned as a nexus of their mighty interstellar civilization; housing its most important institutions, central authorities, and ceremonial sites, alongside concentrating the essential organs of governance and cultural identity. The region houses the most important political institutions, including "His Assembly," and the "Covenant of the Unbowed;" alongside numerous judicial courts, and the supreme executive bodies responsible for the direction of Concordant affairs across the galaxy. These centers of power were often located within monumental structures; palaces of governance, archives, and council halls, many of which were even constructed by the Sanlagosa's own Seraphnim progenitors.

Even after the climactic fall of the Concordant, the region continued to serve as a center of Sanlagosan power. Much of the Near-East remained under the control of the various "Concordant Breakaway" governments that emerged in the aftermath of Absalon's demise, preserving the legacy and influence of the Concordant. Though this legacy of the Sanlagosa would remain fragmented from then-on; an eternal and ever-bleeding Remnant wound of Absalon's ultimate-folly.

Notable Locations
Lone Horizon

The final region of the Realm of Resonance, designated as the Lone Horizon, is composed of a slender band of navigable space at the realm’s farthest outer edge. This region traces a continuous, encircling line that delineates the effective celestial "border" between the known expanse of the Realm of Resonance and the uncharted reaches of the Endless Horizon beyond.

Due to its remote position, the Lone Horizon experiences minimal external influence from the politically dominant regions and their respective ruling bodies. While many of its systems have been charted, they remain largely autonomous, existing outside the direct governance of major intragalactic powers. These worlds and systems typically operate as insular domains, characterized by self-sufficient societies, localized authority structures, and a diversity of independent factions.

Notable Locations

Endless Horizon

Beyond the boundaries of the Realm of Resonance extends the vast expanse known as the Endless Horizon. This is by far the largest defined region within Ambrosia, encompassing the entirety of unknown space that remains inaccessible and unnavigable to the contemporary powers of the galaxy. As a result; the Endless Horizon’s true dimensions are uncertain, as its limits have yet to be mapped or explored by any major civilization.

While Ambrosia as a whole is finite, the boundaries and internal structure of the Endless Horizon are largely undefined, shrouded in mystery and speculation. The number of stars contained within this region is indeterminate; and it may house as many stars as millions to quintillions, or quite possibly numbers of far greater or lesser quantities.

However, despite the indeterminate scale of the Endless Horizon, its significance within galactic history is neither marginal nor uncertain. Throughout the ages, innumerable entities, forces, and civilizations have emerged from the worlds scattered across this vast region, later rising to shape and direct the destinies of the entire galaxy. The influence of the Endless Horizon is evidenced by the recurring emergence of powerful actors whose origins lie beyond the mapped boundaries of the Realm of Resonance.

The distinction between the "known" and "unknown" galaxy has proven to be highly fluid and subjective, often shifting in response to the prevailing epoch and the capabilities of those who hold dominion. Periods of expansion, discovery, and conquest have repeatedly redrawn the lines between explored and unexplored space. During the eras when entities such as the Inomeni Dyad Powers ascended to prominence; near exclusive hegemony and sovereignty over nearly the entire galaxy — including vast tracts of what is now classified as the Endless Horizon — was achieved. At such times, the demarcation between center and periphery, familiarity and mystery, was all but erased.

Notable Locations
Silent Reaches

One of the few formally recognized subregions within the Endless Horizon is the Silent Reaches. This region occupies the most distant extents of the galaxy’s boundaries, situated along the outermost edge where Ambrosia meets the surrounding Void of Totality. The Silent Reaches thus serve as a liminal zone between the last vestiges of known creation and the black expanse of unreality beyond.

The Silent Reaches are notable for their distinct celestial perspective. Worlds and outposts within this region experience a unique astronomical environment, marked by a dramatic juxtaposition between the dense, radiant expanse of Ambrosia and the absolute darkness of the Void of Totality. The sky as seen from these worlds features a pronounced division: one horizon crowded with the clustered brilliance of countless stars and galactic phenomena, and the opposite horizon fading into a featureless Void devoid of life, structure, or form.

Thus for those born and living in the Silent Reaches, this stark contrast shapes cultural, philosophical, and psychological perspectives. The ever-present proximity to both the abundance of creation and the emptiness of unreality fosters a heightened awareness of Ambrosia’s finite nature and the unknown that lies beyond.

Superilyus Arm / Australyus Arm

Positioned at the northernmost and southernmost extremes of the galaxy, the Superilyus Arm and Australyus Arm are two vast and distinctly delineated regions that serve as likely the single most prominent of the outwardly apparent structural features within Ambrosia’s cosmic architecture. These arms consist primarily of immense concentrations of Amaranthine interstellar dust and clouds; forming sweeping, elongated corridors that arc away from the galactic core toward the outer boundaries with that of the Void of Totality.

The Superilyus Arm and Australyus Arm are not only defined by their physical characteristics, but also deeply intertwined with the metanarrative forces of Darkness and Light that shape the totality of Imagindarium's Creation; acting as a calcified microcosm of the dichotomy between that of the opposing forces which shape universal history. The Superilyus Arm, situated at the galaxy’s northernmost extreme, holds greater connection to the principles and influences of Darkness. In contrast, the Australyus Arm, occupying the southernmost reaches, is more closely aligned with the essence of Light.

Despite these inherent connections, neither Darkness nor Light manifests in overt or tangible physical forms within the arms themselves. Instead; their crushing metaphysical presence is felt as a subtle undercurrent, influencing the perception, culture, and spiritual beliefs of those who traverse or inhabit these regions. The duality of Darkness and Light in the Superilyus and Australyus Arms remains an unseen but ever-present aspect of the galactic order that reflects that of universal order itself.

Heavenly Faraway

The most broadly delineated of Ambrosia’s regions, the Heavenly Faraway marks the outermost limit of creative existence, forming the final boundary before the Acreative Void of Totality. This region is characterized by a thin, diffuse film of outwardly manifested Amaranth, present at the furthest extremes of cosmic dispersion. At this distance, Amaranth manifests as a faint crimson glow; an ethereal radiance visible at the galaxy’s outer edge, and invisible to any that dwell within the Ambrosia Galaxy proper.

Functionally, the Heavenly Faraway operates in a manner analogous to the innumerable Stars that populate and illuminate the galaxy; yet one on a scale unimaginably more vast — greater — and more fundamental. It serves as Ambrosia’s own ontological barrier: a defensive wall that insulates the Amaranth Veil from the encroaching forces of the Void of Totality. Without this protective boundary, the integrity of Ambrosia would be vulnerable to dissolution, as the Void’s uncreative influence would otherwise consume and unravel the fabric of existence, leading to total Uncreation.

As a result of this diffuse existence; very few extant entities and concepts are found within the region. However, the relative scarcity of entities within the Heavenly Faraway does not diminish the region’s historical significance or its impact on the course of galactic events. On the contrary; the Heavenly Faraway is the site which house the greatest and most consequential of transformative occurrences in the accumulative histories of Ambrosia.

Foremost among these is its role as the origin and staging ground of Finality, the greatest and most legendary of the ancient Seraphnim superweapons. Finality bears the sole "honor" of having enacted the most sweeping act of destruction ever recorded: the eradication of all Immortal life throughout the Galaxy. This event marked a definitive turning point, introducing the previously dormant presence of Alizarin into the fabric of the now finite Ambrosia, altering the very nature of existence across the Amaranth Realm, and ending the immortal ages of the Cosmos with that of the mortal contemporary.

The deployment of Finality was not merely an act of devastation; but one which was a desperate final measure taken to confront the existential threat posed by the Void of Antaroth; an overwhelming and all-powerful hostile entity commonly referred to simply as the "Void." (not to be confused with the Void of Totality) The Void of Antaroth represented an all-consuming force fundamentally opposed to creative existence, threatening to unravel the very foundations of Ambrosia. The Heavenly Faraway thus became the battleground for this ultimate conflict, with Finality’s use intended to forever forestall total annihilation and protect creation from the encroaching darkness. And whilst the immortal Inomeni may not live to witness it themselves; it was believed that the next mortal generation may yet come to inhabit the transformed, yet preserved Ambrosia and claim it as their own.

In this way, the Heavenly Faraway, though remote and sparsely populated, has served as the crucible for some of the most profound changes in Ambrosia's galactic history; its legacy intertwined with the preservation and transformation of existence itself. This inherent characteristic can be anthropomorphized by the very nature of the region itself: a silent and diffuse, ever-stalwart guardian wall, encircling Ambrosia and offering a unique vantage point from above, below, and all around to observe and bare witness. The Heavenly Faraway stands as the unwavering sentinel; its presence both protective and observant, maintaining a constant watch over the entirety of the Amaranth Realm.
