Most articles are written when 10,000 CE is the present. Anything up to 12,050 is physically possible. After that date, the universe reached its end.

Primordial History

6.5 Billion BCE

Time Begins. The first seconds exist in a state of absolute heat.

Shortly after time begins, the Noosphere splits off from the rest of Cosmoria.

6.3 Billion BCE

The first stars in Cosmoria's history begin to form, and the universal dark ages come to an end. These are all incredibly massive, dying in violent explosions within 100,000 years and creating the first large black holes. Nearly a billion years would pass before their descendants began orbiting the core of Cosmoria.

The largest of these stars, known simply as Providence and approaching ten million stellar masses, is unique in being a black hole star, with enough pressure at its core to create an event horizon. This The accretion disk of this black hole steadily brightens until radiation pressure blasts the rest of the star apart, leaving what we now know as The Heart of Providence.

6.1 Billion BCE: Occalia forms.

5.63 Billion BCE: Calyion forms.

5.5 Billion BCE: Garrea forms.

5.2 Billion BCE: Life emerges on Occalia

Ma'eau comes into existence as life on Velevev establishes firm unconscious control over its planet, first manipulating weather and, later, manipulating even volcanism and plate tectonics for life's own benefit.

400 Million BCE: Complex life emerged onto land on Darvikus.

300 Million BCE

Ma'eau comes into contact with space-faring life, spreading throughout much of Martial Space.

233 Million BCE: The Eqeyuin Dragon, Eqeyuana emerges. It is the oldest confirmed user of Classical Thaumaturgy.

150 Million BCE

By around this point, Ma'eau is manipulating the biospheres of dozens of worlds, essentially terraforming many to increase biodiversity.

Ancient History

10.1 - 9.8 Million BCE

A primitive civilization rises and falls on D'Naevium.

9.81 Million BCE

The Moridian High Command is formed from various nations on the nascent ecumenopolis of Dalkor.

The MHC falls as their territory is impacted by an exotic cloud primarily made of the thaumic material of Marceum. This unrefined form disintegrated into horribly ionizing radiation on impact with anything, and the entire population is wiped out. The region of the vanished stars is now colored a sickly green color and is severely dangerous to enter.

4 Million BCE: Darvikus gains its rings.

1.1 Million BCE

The Un'oit and Scargass evolve around the same time around an unknown planet of Tegrelis.

900,000s BCE: The Zythyns evolved on Lokira.

~200,000 BCE: The Lareas Alliance comes into existence from various tribes of Amosae wanderers within the Lareas region of Florathel.

~195,000 BCE: The oldest records of The Benefactor date back to around this time.

193,000s BCE

The fairly small states of Erlas, Tresh, and Yarla rise and make contact with each other, becoming one of the first states in the mostly empty Cosmoria.

Yarla declines fairly rapidly due to its far distance from other trading networks.

The newly established nation of Rukelia creates the first interstellar empire, conquering Erlas, Tresh, Yarla, and other nations across inner Florathel.

The wandering Woni peoples invade from the far edge of Cosmoria, sacking Ratailis and taking control of the Rukelian heartland.

192,312 BCE: Ute Forsiter of Thanorod unites his people and creates the Melkas Empire near the borders of the Cosmoria Core.

Nar-Kigali of Vijaya unites her people in rebellion against the capricious brutality of the Woni, seceding from their disorganized state and forming the Vijayan Union.

191,892 BCE: Nar-Kigali reconquers Ratailis, Erlas, and Tresh, ousts the Woni, and forms the Neo-Rukelian Empire

191,565 BCE: The Meklas Empire expands to border the Neo-Rukelian Empire, beginning a period of rivalry and cold war.

191,433 BCE: The Lareas Alliance begins its imperialist age after almost a thousand years of peace, expanding outwards from its home in the edge of Cosmoria.

191,387 BCE: The Melkas Empire and Neo-Rukelian Empire become strong allies in the face of their new common enemy of the Lareas Alliance, facilitating leaps and bounds in the technology of the time.

191,305 BCE: The comparatively modest expeditionary force to Zalanthium from Lareas subjugates its few civilizations.

191,299 BCE: Tech Egealta and the Cobalt Order become the basis for Lareas' vassals in Zalanthium.

The Lareas Alliance makes the Neo-Rukelian Empire a series of puppet states, breaking up its territory.

The Lareas Alliance assumes full control over Florathel after defeating the Melkas Empire, the only remaining powerful force there.

The Alliance reaches the core, using diplomacy to draw in the various nations until they were effectively puppet states. The Alliance never fully annexed most states beyond its core in Florathel.

The Alliance effectively has full control over the nomads of the Lux Aeterna.

191,007 BCE: Hyperion is converted from an infrastructure project into a vassal state of the Lareas Alliance.

190,841 BCE

The Alliance reaches its peak under Emperor Ncalywan, who conquered large segments of Aylathiya. After this, a series of decadent rulers lost territory as various vassals simply stopped supporting the Lareas Alliance, and no one bothered to stop them.

190,442 BCE

The Lareas Alliance unleashes The Swarm, a hugely destructive fleet of self-replicating probes controlled by Andvaris.

The Swarm's attack rapidly rips through Cosmoria, killing much of the population of the realm, destroying almost all interstellar travelers and leading to the complete collapse of all cohesive interstellar government.

The Dark Age begins as the lack of any functioning interstellar government leads to anarchy among the newly isolated worlds.

Hyperion deploys every weapon it can to push back the swarm, including Administrator Holos.

190,442-21,484 BCE: Hyperion collapses during this time, and with it civilization in Aylathiya.

Engineers deploy a weapon around Aeterum, a shield that protected the star from any incursion. It worked, but by massively accelerating time within the area the shield protected. From the outside reference frame of the universe, the star's lifespan was shortened to three seconds.

The Dark Age continues. Throughout this time, small civilizations rise and fall, but anything rising to the level of controlling a full star system is swiftly stomped on by the Swarm of Andvaris. Interstellar travel is extremely dangerous if not completely impossible during this time.

The Dotsk evolve on Eithlinn.

~100,000 BCE: Ma'eau creates the Civese on Eos.

~50,000 BCE: The Civese develop Shamanic Thaumaturgy.

2057 BCE: Naidarans found Paradigm, Eos, at the time called R'Yvv.

The Tannjens on Crimwol create their first civilizations.

157 BCE: The Twenty-four Companions finally seal the Bore at the cost of all their lives. The sealing of the Bore abruptly shuts down all Swarm ships, and many remain in deep space to this day. Interstellar travel is now possible, allowing nations to begin expanding into space once again.

120 BCE: Ectabana is founded.

30 BCE: The First of the Aeternalist Angels, Zaphenim, rises from the Lux Aeterna.

Common Era

1 CE: Ectabana becomes an interstellar civilization, the first space faring civilization since the dark ages began.

Most calendars start at this date, the beginning of history.

76 CE: Zaphenim creates the first Humans by heavily modifying Kristals.

The First Aeterna Society forms on the planet Olaris.

103 CE: Zaphenim creates the Aeterna Crystals.

150 CE: Humans colonized Aegyn.

380 CE: Laborosoarchod emerges.

500 CE: Ma'eau becomes increasingly intelligent as it begins interacting with intelligent life.

604 CE: The Alshunaman rebellion begins from Alshunar (modern day Tancred).

The rebellion escalates quickly, culminating in the sack of Veladris and the fall of Ectabana.

The Alshunaman Empire is founded under Emperor Kymeria.

751 CE: Zaphenim perishes.

The First Aeterna Society collapses around this time.

983 CE: The Cosmic Commonwealth of Magi forms amongst a cosmopolitan mix of individuals who independently discovered Thaumaturgy.

The First Aeternal Society's remnants are subsumed into the Commonwealth, but hardliners remain in the wilderness.

1000s

1001 CE: The Dotsk form their own space-faring civilization called The Array.

1004 CE: Karith the Accursed marches from his tiny kingdom of Makrador into the Alshunaman Empire.

1014 CE: Karith the Accursed reaches Alshaza and places it under siege for the next 24 years.

1028 CE: Alshaza is sacked by Karith's forces, killing a decent fraction of the population. As his army marches forth towards Aylathiya, Karith moves his capital from Athan Station to Alshaza itself.

1033 CE: Karith the Accursed dies before his army can reach Nocturne, likely being assassinated by an advisor. His empire covers most of Florathel at this point.

After Karith's death, the empire descends into chaos, starting the Years of Fire in Florathel. Large-scale civilization would take nearly a millennium to recover after this.

1270 CE: The Dotsk create Belshazzar.

1293 CE: The spirit known as Nabopolassar emerges.

1307 CE: Khrumvasaxterit'shymm emerges.

1477 CE: The Oberherr League forms from The Array as Belshazzar collapses.

1487 CE: The Second Angel Sachitel emerges from the Lux Aeterna.

Sachitel tentatively joins the Oberherr League.

1499 CE: The Luxscions emerge from the Lux Aeterna to serve Sachitel.

1500 CE: Sachitel creates the first of the Hedonist Worlds, Eosphoros.

1518 CE: The Second Aeternal Society is founded by Sachitel.

1533 CE: Sachitel goes all the way to Zalanthium to gain troops for her campaigns.

1534 CE: Sachitel's armies conquer Limehold and Crimwol. She exports their magi populations to Aylathiya.

The first wish in millennia granted by The Benefactor is to Sachitel. She wishes for a "magi army to crush Eos."

1544 CE: Sachitel's magus army crushes resistance on Eos and conquers R'Yvv City.

1625 CE: Sachitel sterilizes the planet Zushilo, Eylanse to create the grandest Hedonist World.

2128 CE: Sachitel dies.

2130 CE: The Second Aeternal Society begins decentralizing, forming various independent states.

2150 CE: The Years of Fire end as the nation of Yanaris gradually either conquers enemy states or makes alliances with friendlier ones, and gains supremacy over Florathel.

2300 CE: The Inilar have invented sailing and create a planet-spanning network of commerce, both of goods and ideas.

2500s

2561 CE: Ma'eau gains intelligence, it quickly industrializes the planet Callithyia.

2571 CE: Modern Farlas are first created by Ma'eau to help it maintain its creations.

2829 CE: The Third Angel Rinayo emerges from the Lux Aeterna.

The Fourth Angel Isayo emerges from the Lux Aeterna.

2831 CE: Both Rinayo and Isayo attack Ma'eau, causing its creations to war against each other, resulting in it fracturing into multiple competing wills

2857 CE: Rinayo and Isayo move on to other civilizations to interfere with, likely involving the Un'oit in their pursuits.

2900 CE: Rinayo and Isayo retreat to the Lux Aeterna.

2901 CE: Rinayo and Isayo's followers and creations merge to become the Resonant Divinity.

3867 CE: Ma'eau's civil war finally ends as the remains of the last pieces of its mind are reabsorbed.

4000 CE: A large number of minor Arkhosian nations band together and declare themselves the Arkhosian Order. The United Provinces attempts to quash this challenge to its hegemony.

The Arkhosian War of Unification occurs after the U.P. government begins to eliminate the emergent opposition.

4047 CE: The Arkhosian Civil War is put to an end as the U.P. allows the Arkhosian Order to persist. A treaty is signed which gives the rebels their own nation.

The Arkhosian Order forms beside the U.P.

4100 CE: The Inilar launch their first space craft off of Darvikus.

4197 CE: The Fifth Angel Ohko emerges from the Lux Aeterna.

4200s CE: Ohko creates what is now known as Ohko's Civilization.

Humans begin to colonize much of Aylathiya.

4300 CE: The planet Crimwol unites under a single nation, forgoing the recent trend amongst its populace to move from place to place.

Human civilization is mostly destroyed by the Administrator following their loss in the Ohko-Administrator War.

4302 CE: Hal Drusus attempts to kill The Administrator; Drusus is defeated.

Eve, a Human disciple of Ohko, creates the Ekrosian Guardians, an anomalous military force that prevents the Administrator from entering Aylathiya.

5271 CE: Sydiah established a sort of government for the Architects, essentially making the foundations for Sedrua.

The Architects are ordered to colonize worlds and create habitation for future citizens.

Sydiah allows Vurilia and Drizuna to create the Bahattes, a genetically modified off-shoot of Humans.

5278 CE: The Sedruans first encounter the Aeternapes on a colony planet.

Sydiah officially establishes Sedrua and declares all Architects as leaders for the new people.

A massive surveillance network is created by Itrian Yutira. It ensures unity for the Sedrua, keeping it tight-knit across vast distances. The network also lets Sedrua observe areas beyond Sedruan territory.

5304 CE: The Oculus of Truth is created by Sydiah. It closely watches over all Sedruan colonies.

Bahattes are granted technological agency and gain the ability to colonize other worlds without much supervision. Sedrua greatly expands as a result.

5313 CE: Sedrua encounters the United Provinces and the Arkhosian Order. Both governments set aside their differences to wage war against the outsiders.

5317 CE: Sedrua establishes semi-autonomous sectors to keep cohesion in its territory.

Sydiah slowly re-organizes the line of leadership in Sedrua to accommodate representatives.

5320 CE: Sedrua begins covert operations in the United Provinces after tensions grow even more.

U.P. scouting forces detect unauthorized Sedruan infrastructure in the U.P's borders. The U.P. is outraged.

After great discussion in the Sedruan government, Sydiah directs 1,000 Architects to breach the U.P's border.

Aylathia's Siege begins.

The Arkhosian Order sees opportunity in the war, deciding to establish trade lines between them and Sedrua to vanquish the U.P.

The Order begins private sessions of diplomacy with Sedrua, explaining their plans for a U.P. downfall.

5322 CE: By this time, Sedrua's capabilities in the war are diminishing. Superior U.P. technology matches the force of the Architects.

5323 CE: Sydiah directs the creation of new transport craft and trade lines. The Arkhosian War remains in a gridlock for decades.

The Order directly joins with Sedrua against the United Provinces. The U.P. is overcome by multi-front war.

5326 CE: Sakijast is occupied by Sedruan forces.

The U.P's leader is killed alongside other figureheads and politicians.

Arkhosian guerilla forces form as the U.P. begins to collapse. They attack both the Order's and Sedrua's fleets.

The United Provinces collapses.

5337 CE: The Arkhosian Order turns on Sedrua, following through with their plans. Unrestricted bombing of Sakijast, the Arkhosian homeworld, is the official casus belli.

5600 CE: Sedrua reaches its height. Most of Aylathiya's core territory is influenced in some form.

Vurilia Jutopati and Drizuna Jutopati found Novel Aeternalism, a more scientific take on the all-encompassing faith. Aylathiya's religious people begin to change their ideals though most remain in tradition.

5630 CE: Ancient Alkanism forms as a unified coherent philosophy amongst Rorran philosophers.

5734 CE: The Akradax Collective is founded.

5838 CE: Holos, Ma'eau, and Titania found the Triumvirate Civilization around Tryvya.

The Triumvirate controls L'Starte and Tryvya with influence around other systems.

5840 CE: Dotskgard is founded on Eithlinn.

The Dotsk first begin settling Mili.

5841 CE: The Triumvirate conquers Eos, massively increasing its population.

5870 CE: The Triumvirate conquers the Orcubor, giving them control over the inner Angreifer system.

The Triumvirate establishes the Five Ministries, a vast bureau built to govern its territory.

The Triumvirate establishes the Great Intendancy, a quasi-independent police force. It is headquartered on Waimarrin, the latest addition to the Triumvirate.

5900s CE: The Civese, a bronze-age species by this time, have come to understand Thaumaturgy and the Lux Aeterna.

5923 CE: POLIKY is created by the Civese, initially as a sort of spirit.

The Civese utilize POLIKY to unite the Four Civese Kingdoms.

5980 CE

POLIKY discovers the full potential of the Lux Aeterna, making it one of the best Magi in history.

The Civese become an interstellar race, expanding throughout Eos and beyond.

A landmark meeting in the de-centralized Civese government lays down the foundation for four cohesive sectors, separated by distinct cultures, population strata, and ideologies.

5980s CE: The Civese found their great cities.

Civestadt is founded, and acts as the center for all Civese activity.

Espacia is founded.

Daipho is founded.

Tonuur is founded.

5887 CE: Sedruan Magi notice the immense aberrations caused by POLIKY. Itrian Yutira sends various scouting vessels and personally investigates key areas around Aylathiya.

5890 CE

Itrian detects POLIKY and Civese "spacecraft", initiating contact immediately.

Sedrua greatly dislikes the Alliance's practices, finding their "misuse" of Thaumaturgy and comparatively barbaric society to be insulting.

From this ordeal, the Civese begin diplomatic relations with the Triumvirate, which grants their region of Eos independence.

5892 CE

The Payotari Quartet forms after the Civese people come together against Sedrua.

5912 CE: The Wane of Reality happens as The Eye of Aylathiya device breaks down.

Sydiah's Pylon crumbles before congealing into the Pylon beast named Her Sorcerer. Sydiah dies.

Itrian Yutira automatically ascends to the position of leader of Sedrua.

A very discontent sector named Avolast breaks off Sedrua after feeling the whiplash. Faith in Sedrua's government diminishes greatly.

5913 CE: The Triumvirate gains control over Ynnud.

5918 CE: Sensing an opportunity from Sedrua's failure, The Payotari Quartet conducts a "crusade" across Aylathiya. They encroach upon Sedruan territory, seizing partial sovereignty over Matoehdahn.

The Quartet denies a Sedruan peace treaty.

5919 CE: Vurilia Jutopati and Drizuna Jutopati attempt to normalize relations with the Payotari Quartet. It is ineffective.

5921 CE: A string of failed diplomatic outreaches results in hostilities between Sedrua and the Quartet. Diplomatic relations cease between both nations.

Civestadt, followed by all other Civese nations, implements a nation-wide ban of Sedruan ideologies and religions. The scant few followers of either are silenced or deported.

The Quartet becomes increasingly belligerent towards Sedrua.

Sedruan and Quartet military assets pile up in bordering regions.

5922 CE: Itrian Yutira orders an attack on the Payotari Quartet, beginning the Sedrua-Quartet War.

POLIKY deepens its research into Thaumic technology, creating its first Thaumic military vessels.

5923 CE: War between Sedrua and the Payotari Quartet enters into gridlock.

The Quartet funds various rebel cells which coalesce into the Folatria Movement, destablizing Sedrua's hold over Lycurgus.

5930 CE: The Triumvirate invades Helyar and Byutix while Sedrua is distracted with its war.

5940 CE: The mostly Human defenders of Byutix immediately defect, seizing a spacecraft, and flee to Zalanthium.

Byutix falls to the Triumvirate.

5934 CE: The Gridlock is broken as Sedrua begins rapidly losing Lycurgus.

A flagship named Reckoning is constructed by a joint Ma'eau-POLIKY effort.

5939 CE: Architects from across Sedrua begin demanding an end to the conflict.

5940 CE: The Payotari Quartet wins as Sedrua lays up its arms, officially surrendering for the first time in its history.

A treaty named the Payotari Endowment is signed, securing the Quartet's position as a superpower. The Quartet swiftly rebuilds and expands shortly after. Sedrua permanently loses Lycurgus.

5949 CE: Civestadt creates its first extensive Hyperlane network, connecting it to the Anemoi Line.

Trust in Civestadt's government drops during the passing of its post-war policies. Inhabitants of the other Great Cities find them to be unfair, though enthusiasm about growing infrastructure overwhelms most opposition.

5969 CE: Moonmoon is born.

5980s CE: The first known followers of Silverstar start popping up across Aylathiya.

6000s

6005 CE: Gradual increase of Triumvirate-Quartet relations allows both parties to improve their travel and trade policies.

6023 CE: Civestadt announces the proposition for a policy named the "Autonomous Civese Act", which allows all Civese cities to act relatively independently.

6025 CE: Power slowly begins shifting away from Civestadt as the less populous Civese cities begin developing.

6038 CE: The cities Daipho and Espacia petition for influence in Lycurgus, a system recently-conquered by Civestadt. They are accepted to please the public.

6040 CE: A landmark summit by Quartet and Triumvirate diplomats occurs. In the end, the Triumvirate informs the Alliance about a plan to further diminish Sedrua's influence.

Collaborating with the Triumvirate, the Payotari Quartet covertly sends assets to Sedrua's territory.

Sedrua connects the espionage to the Payotari Quartet and the Triumvirate. Itrian Yutira almost declares war, though he's denied by the senate and Sedruan people.

After several intra-governmental meetings, Sedrua strikes by backing extremists in rural Civese territory.

6041 CE: Civese extremists in the wilderness around the Civese cities gain an increasing amount of influence.

Civestadt loses a great deal of control as a growing number of its citizens begin despising its rule.

6042 CE: Ignoring the unrest, the Payotari Quartet begins funding Arkhosian reformists. The still-injured Sedrua faces several hard-hitting terrorist organizations.

6043 CE: Haviir and Osametu stop funding Arkhosian terrorists after Vokray is targeted by Sedruan extremists.

After failure in what is essentially a proxy war, Civestadt pressures Haviir and Osametu to fight for Civese pride and back Arkhosian opposition. They reluctantly comply.
