Cosmoria contains one hundred stars. It is home to a vast number of nations, with whole star systems rarely falling under the control of a single polity. To control an entire star makes a civilization far larger than the vast majority to have ever existed. |

It distantly orbits the black hole of Nocturne beyond its many planets and hosts the planet Garrea, capital of the furthest member of the United Nations of Florathel. After the final destruction of Pecay-Po in 8042, the few remaining Elkeres fled Valme, only to be pushed away by almost every other civilization. Their only choice was Dorok, found at the edge of the borders of Florenta. The Elkeres made their home into a new Florentan province before gaining independence and then being taken by Sagittarium. Today, Mandras has finally gained independence for good as an associate state of Sagittarium and has taken great pains to lift its population out of their cripplingly poor quality of life. As it is also a high-ranking member of the UNF, Mandras is punching well above its weight and rapidly becoming among the most influential states in its region. |

|Image=Etude is beautiful.jpg |

|Type=Y Class Brown Dwarf |

|NativeSpecies=None |
|||
|Description=Etude is a frigid brown dwarf in Circuinotturna. It possesses a faint band of material halfway between a ring and an asteroid belt. Etude hosts seven planets orbiting close enough to it to be more akin to moons than planets. It has the highest Un'oit population outside of their home system of Oratorio. Despite its somewhat isolated position, three of its satellites have populations in the billions thanks to large subsurface oceans created by tidal heating. This heating is a relatively recent phenomenon meaning the system has no native life to speak of. |
|||
The innermost moon, Canon, is an icy world whose close orbit causes immense tidal heating. Thawing just one hundred million years ago, Canon's subsurface oceans are rich in ammonia and salts. Volcanically active, Canon's surface is constantly renewed and thus quite smooth. |
|||
Waltz has a natural magnetic field, making it the most habitable and populous of Etude's moons. Its dense iron core and molten mantle are still warm from formation. Waltz was the first of Etude's colonized satellites. Waltz's sole moon, Landler, possesses large fusion reactors and light fixtures along its equator. These lights supply Waltz with habitable temperatures for the cold-resistant Un'oit. Waltz has a handful of surface oceans, but underground reservoirs, cities, and preserves host most life. Waltz has only a handful of natural craters, but millions of artificial ones. Bombing during the Un'oit Ascension vaporized a full percent of Waltz's mass. Fields of igneous rock and volcanic glass now dominate its surface. |
|||
Rondo, the smallest satellite, is also Etude's densest. The iron-rich world has a comparatively high surface gravity making it uninhabitable for the Un'oit. Consequently, Rondo is the only of Etude's companions to host a large non-Un'oit population. Most of its inhabitants are Civese colonists. |
|||
Sonatina has an ammonia ocean similar to the world of Sonata. |
|||
Intermezzo has a dense atmosphere of nitrogen that periodically freezes and sublimates. Subterranean colonies represent the bulk of Sonatina's cities. |
|||
Fantasia is a barren world lacking in most volatiles, leaving it with a surface of silicate dust and craters. |
|||
Serenade, the outermost world, hosts impressive fortifications as the first line of defense in the system. |

As for physical properties, the star has more usable territory than most systems its size. The ancient Matoehdahn Contract disolved the small moons Hitogawari and Stetsett to build space habitats around the star. This network of habitats remains somewhat in tact, but the tidiness of the Contract had not been maintained. The ever-accumulating space debris from various wars have been reducing the number of habitats. Rather than rebuild them, Akrholst moves the displaced citizens to Bellataine. |

Its large gravity allows it to entertain four stellar companions: Requiem, Finale, Overture, and Elegy. The black hole additionally hosts over a dozen frigid worlds . Nocturne has been an untamed wilderness for most of its history, far too large to ever be exploited to its full extent. Once the nation of Sagittarium formed, however, the system had finally become united under a single ruler. This brief period of stability was replaced by a confederation of nobles who ruled their various domains with little oversight. In addition to Sagittarium, Mandras, Erayadan and Collegium Aurum control various territories within the Nocturne system.<br> |
||
<br> |
|||
Nocturne has a wide array of unusual properties that have defined its civilizations. During the days of the Oberherr League, a number of Overlords called the body home. With the arrival of Zaphenim, nearly all of them were destroyed. Cleansed of all Overlords but Laborosoarchod, Nocturne became inhabited by some of the earliest Human populations outside of their home system. The last ancient Overlord would rear its head shortly after Sagittarium's founding. The chaos from the resulting conflict ended with Laborosoarchod cast into Nocturne. To this day, the being contorts spacetime in an attempt to escape, releasing Nocturne's now famous gravitational radiation. Currently, it is this radiation that powers not only Sagittarium's but the entire system's economy. |

|Description=Lykare is a red dwarf star in Yaztas, Florathel. A dense constellation of energy collectors once gathered nearly five of Lykare's power—enough energy to make Lykare the beating heart of the Lareas Alliance. The energy collectors, thought to have been self-replicating, had since fallen into disrepair. A cascading failure caused the structure to slowly degrade. Today, venturing into the system is quite dangerous as a great many particles, the shredded remains of solar collectors, and ruined ships, tear apart most spacecraft. |
|||
The rotation of the energy collectors, caused by differing albedo on their sides, converts solar energy directly into rotational power, the preferred form of energy in the Lareas Alliance. Today, a number of these collectors still function. Remote obvervation gives archeologists key clues about Larean civilization. |

Small squadrons of Varkas craft operated by the Sobora tribe usually escort foreign spacecraft into the Aeterna, before handing the ships off to the protection of the planetary shield at Varkor, where they can continue between planets in much the same manner. Despite being of comparatively lesser importance to the many Varkas Tribes, it is the most well-known of their holdings to the outside world. |

Despite its status, Medb was still able to sustain a thriving ecosystem around one of the moons of its only planet, Tuirne. |Description=Varkor is a large gas giant floating in an artificially blown stable space within the Lux Aeterna. One of its moons, Arkaelo, is the closest thing the peoples of the Varkas Tribes have to a capital, where representatives of each tribe meet at regular intervals. Its vast number of spherical moons were collected from parts unknown across the galaxy over eons of history, and a megastructure was built around the planet to help make the space it travels through clear of the Lux Aeterna's famous corrosiveness. Varkor and other rogue worlds claimed by tribes of the Varkas culture are unique in that they can travel under their own power, with enormous fusion engines suspended in the atmosphere firing torches of ionized planetary matter thousands of kilometers into space at relativistic speeds pushing the planet and its companions through space. |

Although it was likely encountered by the Tegerelis Exodus Fleet thousands of years prior near the end of their long journey, Aiah was only discovered by modern Sarepha shortly prior to the War of Saiheran Succession, where Princess Zelera Atherian made her hideout. Her forces maintained this base until Princess Kalea Atherian surprise-attacked it by allowing her fleet to free-fly for several weeks towards the planet at low power to minimise warning. Zelera managed to flee, but all three were summoned to Dimostah for the final duel during the Truce of Suloom. After the war, Aiah is simply a historical location of some scientific curiosity. |

Ferrinai was once the premier resource harvesting site of the Providence Union and Akradax Collective, depending on whose flag wasn't knocked down at any given time. Great mirrored megastructures built to focus power and light from the distant stars hundreds of billions of kilometers away onto the small mining colonies, until disaster struck. The latest attack on the planet in the 6500s CE shortly before the Pecay-Po Genocide resulted in the destruction of the fragile mirrors. Their wafer-thin surfaces fragmented into tiny shards of metallic glass, whirling around the darkened planet and shredding any ship that dared approach. While the Ferrinai catastrophe caused a tragic loss of life, it did have the side effect of forcing a resolution to the dispute and ending centuries of hostilities between the two nations. |

|Description=Galliard is a frigid ice world whose atmosphere has shrunk to half its original size. Even so, simple microbes, mostly from Kingdom Monera, the bacteria, have found a home in Galliard's atmosphere. Kept aloft by its winds, they are slowly changing the character of the atmosphere, causing it to contract even faster. |

<center><span style="font-size:16px;">Vadria is a large, icy rogue planet that can be found just outside the Andekai System and Inielus. Discovered by the Providence Union in 5433 CE, it spent most of its history either within the borders of the Providence Union or in the Akradax-Providence Neutral Zone separating the two nations. After the Treaty of Vadria in 8022 CE, the Neutral Zone ceased to be, and its population rose as exploitation of its resources became easier. With the secession of Seldrin-Darusa, that nation became the primary caretaker of Vadria, and remained so until Kandor took the planet from it during the War of Saiheran Succession.</span></center> |

Varkor is a large gas giant floating in an artificially blown stable space within the Lux Aeterna. |

Volfare is the second oldest of the wandering worlds of the Varkas Tribes. Alongside its companions, Volfare swims through the corrosive environment of the Lux Aeterna, shielded by an enormously upscaled form of a unique Varkas-made technology built into orbital rings above its atmosphere. The planets of the Varkas fled into the Aeterna with the military forces of the Providence Union hot on their heels, and Volfare was the last to escape, with much of its population killed before the enemy fleet was forced to turn back. Today, it has been maneuvered into position near the Aylathiyan terminus of the Aeternal Trade Lines operated by the Varkas tribes. |

Cryza, unlike most other planets populated by the Varkas Tribes, is not hidden within the Lux Aeterna. It can be found just beyond its borders, near the dividing line between Florathel and Zalanthium, and is the primary route through which traders enter their territory. |

Aiah is cold. Very cold. Not even warmed by the distant light of the many suns of Cosmoria, Aiah has floated through the dead void almost since time began. Unique patterns etched on the icy surface forever fluctuate, almost attaining lifelike properties. |

The result is the manifestation of Ambrosian Remnants, fragments of a story that adherents to many religions obsessively piece together. Many of these remnants are physical objects, relics, or even records that describe civilizations that have never existed. Other remnants are spatial or temporal anomalies that temporarily induce hallucinations in any nearby intelligent organism, usually describing important, if not fictional, events. |

Etude
The innermost moon, Canon, is an icy world whose close orbit causes immense tidal heating. Thawing just one hundred million years ago, Canon's subsurface oceans are rich in ammonia and salts. Volcanically active, Canon's surface is constantly renewed and thus quite smooth.
Sonatina has an ammonia ocean similar to the world of Sonata.
Intermezzo has a dense atmosphere of nitrogen that periodically freezes and sublimates. Subterranean colonies represent the bulk of Sonatina's cities.
Fantasia is a barren world lacking in most volatiles, leaving it with a surface of silicate dust and craters.
Serenade, the outermost world, hosts impressive fortifications as the first line of defense in the system.

The zombie of a star hosts fitting inhabitants, the Marred Life. As Ma'eau warred against itself, it spawned these unique organisms. The Marred Life have a large number of strange properties usually associated with decay. In fact, one could think of this form of life as constantly in a state of decomposition. The Marred Molkor species rules the inner portion of the system.

Rogue Planets
Florathel
Lada Aldyrena

Type - Ice World
Native Species - None
Lada Aldyrena is an icy world in Elerad, Florathel. It was the sight of the adoption of the Chartered Kingdom of Aakaash's contritution. The occassional ceremony takes place here, as well as the crowning of new kings since it is considred neutral territory. It was named after the much more famous Aldyren since a foreign country mediated the treaty.

Polinia

Type - Icy Terrestrial Planet
Native Species - Kaurid
Polinia is a tiny, icebound planet floating in interstellar space unbound from any star. Barely bright enough to be more than another star in the sky, the nearest star to the planet is the tight binary of Jatras and Idrana making up the Andred System. Beneath its thick icy crust, Polinia exhibits a liquid ocean over sixty kilometers deep, the low gravity preventing this from reaching the crushing pressures normally expected and allowing life to thrive and evolve at the countless hydrothermal vents found here. The Kaurid species that evolved beneath this ice eventually broke through it and expanded throught the planet's region of interstellar space, even into the outer reaches of the Andred System. After the War of the Last Alliance, Polinia became the capital of Kaurim, a major state in Florathel, becoming a founding member of the United Nations of Florathel after the War of Saiheran Succession.

The Void
Aiah

Type - Ice Terrestrial
Native Species - None
Aiah (Un'oit: Cantilena) is cold. Very cold. Not even warmed by the distant light of the many suns of Cosmoria, Aiah has floated through the dead void almost since time began. Unique patterns etched on the icy surface forever fluctuate, almost attaining lifelike properties.
Moons - Zelera's Station
Barcolle

Type - Terrestrial Planet
Native Species - None
Barcolle is a war torn planet whose surface remains scattered with undetonated munitions, scrap, and debris. Even so, miners from across the universe brave the deadly environment to recycle these parts and hopefully strike it big finding an undetonated atomic weapon or, even better, an ancient fusion core. Its moons attract similar prospectors. The Euphony Civilization is mostly to blame for the surplus of craters on what should be a smooth world.
Moons - Caprice, Tiento
Cibell

Type - Alkane World
Native Species - None
Cibell is the binary partner of Concertato and ocean world in Insieme. Its deep oceans of liquid methane, kept thawed through tidal forces, are slowly dragging it toward its twin. It shares a single moon, Canzona, with Concertato.
Moons - Canzona
Concertato

Type - Terrestrial World
Native Species - None
Concertato is a barren world and binary partyner of Cibell. Tidal forces have created a large network of cracks on its surface and some of the deepest known canyons. It shares a single moon, Canzona, with Cibell.
Moons - Canzona
Galliard

Type - Ice Giant
Native Species - None
Galliard is a frigid ice world whose atmosphere has shrunk to half its original size. Even so, simple microbes, mostly from Kingdom Monera, the bacteria, have found a home in Galliard's atmosphere. Kept aloft by its winds, they are slowly changing the character of the atmosphere, causing it to contract even faster.
Moons - Alleluion, Eclogue, Dithyramb, Virelai
Ostinato

Type - Terrestrial Planet
Native Species - None
Ostinato is a rogue planet and one of the most remote components of the Insieme region.
Moons - Quodlibet
Saltarello

Type - Terrestrial Planet
Native Species - None
Saltarello had traditionally been a Triumvirate vault containing a surplus of vessels, weapons, volatiles, and foodstuffs. When the Triumvirate collapsed, the Euphony Civilization could attribute much of their success to this depot, which they seized early during the Triumvirate's decline. Today, the planet is mostly inhabited by archeologists.
Moons - None
Serenata

Type - Alkane World
Native Species - None
Serenata is a rogue planet within the Insieme region.
Moons - Magnificat, Canticle, Ballata
Singspiel

Type - Terrestrial Planet
Native Species - None
Singspiel is a rogue planet within the Insieme region.
Moons - None
Aylathiya
Amarent

Type - Dwarf Planet
Native Species - None
Amarent is an anomaly of a world that is currently poorly-understood. Dating methods consistently return an age far too old to be composed of the heavy elements it is. With a unique core made up almost entirely of lead, the planet has a weak magnetic field that does little to protect it from the punishing radiation of interstellar space. Amarent has been under the control of Sedrua since it was first discovered, but is currently not claimed by any one nation. Even so, forces from the Commonwealth of Aggregate Aylathiya occupy much of the world and often engage in conflict with forces from the Cabal of Amaranth Truth, Occult Galaxy Project, and the Church of the Fae Queen.
Moons - None
Arianrhod

Type - Gas Dwarf
Native Species - None
Arianrhod is a rogue planet within the Lacrimosa region of Aylathiya.
Moons - Gwydion, Gilfaethwy, Goffanon
Ayuayu

Type - Ice Planet
Native Species - None
Ayuayu is a volcanically active world in Aggregate Aylathiya. This volcanism suggests a recent date of formation. The volatiles from the cryovolcanoes, namely oxygen and nitrogen, creates perpetual global snowfall. So far, nearly a kilometer of the stuff has accumulated.
Moons - Taiyak
Bousquet Rouge

Type - Terrestrial Planet
Native Species - None
Despite its status as a rogue planet, Bousquet Rouge is "teaming" with life. Although this life is slow growing, its activities turn stray cosmic radiation into heat, keeping the planet warm enough for their liquid nitrogen ecology. Large towers, sometimes dozens of meters tall, dot the surface. These are the fruiting bodies of Bousquet Rouge's fungus analogs and the source of its name.
Moons - None
Cevros

Type - Ice World
Native Species - Ancient Cevros Civilization
Cevros is a frozen ecumenopolis whose parent star is currently unknown. Now resting in Aggregate Aylathiya, Cevros has become a minor tourist destination. Much of the tourists are aspiring archeologists who seek to uncover the mystery of this ancient world. Its population could have been as high as three trillion at its peak, but no bodies have been found. Most of the planet is buried in salty ice kilometers thick.
The largest structure found on Cevros is the wreckage of what could have been a weapons system. Some estimates claim the collosal gun could have launched slugs at near the speed of light, but it is hard to confirm this. Squatters and prospecters beat archeologists to the planet by centuries, harvesting the gun's valuable coil and melting it down into pure metal. Using isotropic measurements, much of this metal found its way into Sedrua's military ships.
Moons - None
Cinderxi

Type - Ice World
Native Species - None
Cinderxi was once a pristine white color, as white as it had been when the last of its atmosphere sublimated into carbon dioxide ice. Tenshi dropped a single nuclear weapon onto a rogue mining outpost, more a flex of their wealth than anything. With such low gravity, the resulting carbon soot formed a thin ring around the world. Within the century, most had fallen back down, creating its modern grey "dirty snowball" appearance. Cinderxi is the only rogue planet in Blumeheim, Aylathiya.
Moons - None
Clausula

Type - Ice Giant
Native Species - None
Clausula is an ice giant in Circuinotturna, Aylathiya. For much of its history, it has been an outpost for Sagittarium, acting as a first line of defense against various powers depending on where it is in orbit.
Moons - Rotta, Cantiga, Praeludium
Efnisien

Type - Ice Giant
Native Species - None
Efnisien is a rogue ice giant in Nerichi, Aylathiya. Efnisien has a fairly high Human population and is a part of Leviathan.
Moons - Arvette, Luvra
Ethayos

Type - Rust World
Native Species - None
Ethayos, more a large iron-rich asteroid than a proper rogue planet, lies in Aggregate Aylathiya. The dwarf world has a somewhat substantial magnetic field, not due to the usual culprits of the atmosphere or outer core, but because the iron that comprises it is intrnsically magnetic. It is the largest known ferromagnet. Its surface is mostly rust red due to slow reactions with trace water deposits. Over the years, iron-rich dust has accumulated on Ethayos.
Moons - None
Hathia

Type - Terrestrial/Ice Planet
Native Species - Molkor
Hathia is a major world and the most populated rogue planet in Cosmoria. Home of the Molkor species, Hathia has a population of nearly 50 billion. Gira Gira warms Hathia enough to keep it habitable and since both it and Hathia orbit the galactic core roughly in sync, Hathia goes through phrases of hot and cold as it grows nearer and further to its "sun." Normally, it would be far too cold—even with Gira Gira's impressive brightness. Its thick carbon-rich atmosphere keeps the planet's climate above the frigid temperature it would otherwise be.
Moons - None
Joia

Type - Ice World
Native Species - None
Joia is a rogue planet in Nerichi, Aylathiya.
Moons - Archnamn
Lipisyte

Type - Terrestrial World
Native Species - None
Lipisyte is a terrestrial world in the Cenades, Aylathiya.
Moons - Aumanil
Nenten

Type - Ice World
Native Species - None
Nenten is an unusual ice world in Aviseyca, Aylathiya, Its icy surface is primarily composed of Fierce Ice. This form of ice, normally the result of heavy industrial processes, is uncommon in nature. As dense as iron, Fierce Ice is cast into its final shape rather than mined, but Nenten has a particularly strong variant called Fierce Ice II. This naturally-occuring isomer forms in the presense of impurities which catalyze its unusually dense crystal structure. Nenten sustains a resource-dependent economy centered around arms production, mostly bullets or slugs made of Fierce Ice II. Equivalent to depeleted Uranium in density but without the drawbacks, Leviathan jealously guards this world.
Moons - None
Sraosha

Type - Ice Planet
Native Species - None
Sraosha is an icy world in Nericihi. It has a large Vlanoan population and is under the control of Delyatu.
Moons - Vohu Manah
Staletaya

Type - Ice Planet
Native Species - None
Staletaya is a frigid rogue planet in the Cenades, Aylathiya. So distant from any star, the planet's once-molten core has frozen solid, leading to temperatures approaching absolute zero. Nitrogen and Carbon Dioxide ices cover most of its surface, with small ponds of Neon scattered throughout.
Moons - Moroz
Sterrewacht

Type - Ice Giant
Native Species - None
Sterrewacht is a rogue ice giant once a part of the L'Starte system. For most of its recent history, the Confederacy of Borealis used the innermost moon Marmorschloss as its premier shipyard. Although isolated, during the War of the Ancients it produced nearly half of the Confederacy's warcraft.
Moons - Marmorschloss, Freiheit, Granitwand, Scnhlanker Fels
Yuanshi

Type - Terrestrial Planet
Native Species - None
Yuanshi is a large terrestrial rogue planet in Lacrimosa, Aylathiya. It is currently under the control of Tianshi.
Moons - Yuhuang, Kiku
Yvysil

Type - Ocean World
Native Species - None
Yvysil is a large water-rich ocean world in Aylathiya. It orbits the galactic core roughly in sync with Gira Gira, thawing the otherwise rock solid surface. Despite the warmer temperatures at the equator, most of its meager population lives atop the ice sheets to save on construction costs.
Moons - None
Zarzuela

Type - Ice World
Native Species - None
Zarzuela is an icy rogue planet in Circuinotturna, Aylathiya.
Moons - Miserere, Sciolto
