In May, we extended a warm welcome to the newest additions to the Amaranth Legacy community:
Site Members:
Discord Users:
We're glad to have you with us, and we are looking forward to everything you’ll bring to the community!
We've expanded the range of content which you can put on the website; now, non-lore, non-narrative content can also be put in the Studio: namespace. For example, comics, essays, works meta to a Scope, and other non-normative works fit in the Studio: namespace.
To help people focus and collaborate on specialised or Scope-specific tasks, we have implemented the Committee System. You may be a member of up to four Scope committees and four general committees at any time. To create a committee, you must have at least four total members (including yourself) who are interested and want to participate. Some examples of committes include the Template and Styling Committee, the Onboarding & Outreach Committee, the Cosmoria Committee, and the Silky Way Committee.
We've finalized and updated some templates for community member usage:
May’s week-long Article Drive saw a wide range of submissions from community members who set personal goals to create, update, or reformat content across the site. Whether it was developing entirely new pieces or improving older pages, contributors worked hard to meet their targets.
All pages submitted as Article Drive goals:
Thank you to everyone who participated in this Month's Article Drive!
In celebration of our ten-year anniversary, the May 2025 Article Challenge's theme was Amaranth. We received eight submissions from non-staff community members and six submissions from staff community members.
