Overview

"Countless eons in the future, the age of starlight is a myth. The universe is a lonely, frozen abyss of black holes and rogue worlds, seldom populated by ruins of foregone civilizations. Deep in the void, an ancient digital construct of unknown purpose has mysteriously awakened... Her first thoughts? Curiosity of her nature and that of the cold blackness enveloping her. In an erratic pursuit of answers, she began to simulate an endless amount of worlds, each inspired by visions of starlight from her fragmented memory..."

Vela, or Vela's Simulations is a vast scope led by TheStellarExplorer, whose goal is to connect a myriad of themes, genres, and styles of writing in an overarching storyline that aims to provoke wonder about ourselves and our existence. The lore of Vela transpires in the inconceivably far future of the Distant Worlds universe, in endless amounts of simulated worlds envisioned by the fractured memory of an ancient artificial intelligence.

How To Contribute

Contribution in Vela is open to only vetted users who have been present and active in Amaranth Legacy for a little while. Feel free to reach out through the scope's channel in Discord if you wish to get started!

A short listing of every simulation in Vela and the locales within:

Asleth - Corrupted, unstable reality at the end of time, split into several instances of its past.
- Acellaris - A dying sun at the end of the universe, an organization in secrecy, and its struggles to maintain normalcy.
Astralis - Endless field of galaxies, grand civilizations, and lively worlds.
- Kachiro - Constellation of seven galactic realms, populated by countless races across the stars.
Emyth - Eternal void interweaved by solitary clusters of galactic realms.
- Aziel - Three distant worlds linked by bleeding rifts, home to countless flourishing ecologies and grand civilizations.
Palioxis - Grand, shattered conflux of realms in the heart of the Fault.
