We had an incredible May, and I’m thrilled to share some of the amazing things we accomplished. May holds particular significance, as it marks the ten-year anniversary of Amaranth Legacy!
Founded on May 28, 2025 by morbiusgreen, it’s truly mind-blowing how far we’ve come. And as we look toward the future, our community has never been more active, inspired, or excited to keep moving ever-onward; towards another ten years of creation, collaboration, and Amaranth Legacy!!!

We've expanded the range of content which you can put on the website; now, non-lore, non-narrative content can also be put in the Studio: namespace. For example, comics, essays, works meta to a Scope, and other non-normative works fit in the Studio: namespace.

This month, we expanded the site to include One-Shot articles; standalone settings, stories, or concepts that exist entirely within a single page. Designed for self-contained writings, One-Shots are perfect for creative experiments, speculative vignettes, or one-off worldbuilding ideas that don’t tie into larger universes.

To help people focus and collaborate on specialized or Scope-specific tasks, we have implemented the Committee System. You may be a member of up to four Scope committees and four general committees at any time. To create a committee, you must have at least four total members (including yourself) who are interested and want to participate. Some examples of committes include the Template and Styling Committee, the Onboarding & Outreach Committee, the Cosmoria Committee, and the Silky Way Committee.

In celebration of our ten-year anniversary, the May 2025 Article Challenge's theme was Amaranth. We received eight submissions from non-staff community members and six submissions from staff community members.
Our Monthly Community Drive for May was a Profile Contest, where Site Members and Authors were encouraged to creatively update and personalize their user profiles!
