In short: Amaranth Legacy is a community of worldbuilders, writers, and storytellers, all brought together to share writings, artwork, and ideas. We have a decade-long history, with 132 users and 3,895 pages on this website.
This community's structure relies heavily on a concept of Scopes—our term for separate, individual canons. Currently, we have 68 Scopes.
In short: To start editing, you need to make an account on this website. All you need is an email address! This can be done by clicking on the profile icon, selecting the "log in" link, and filling out the input form.
Just browsing? Check out our TV which lists all the Scopes in our community!
The Monthly Article Challenge for May 2025 is now LIVE!!
The theme this month is: "Amaranth."
This one's a bit broader than usual, as it's more of a celebration of our community's titular color/concept/what have you.
Your submissions can have Amaranth in the title, or have it be Amaranth in hue/structure. Or relate to "Amaranth" as a concept, either if you want to take inspiration to Amaranth in its OG form (as in ImagindariumAmaranth) or have it be really meta and relate to Amaranth Legacy directly.
Just relate it back to Amaranth in some way that makes it stand out, and celebrate this occasion by showing off what you love!
Because it's the anniversary and so specials, you have until 9:00 PM PDT (UTC -8) on the 28th to submit your articles, so START WRITING!!!!!!!

Amaranth Legacy Monthly Newsletter
Issued April 2025 By LordSkorne7
Hey everyone!
April was an absolutely incredible month for Amaranth Legacy, and I'm very proud to see how far we've come in so short a time. We welcomed so many wonderful new faces, shared tons of new content and stories, and set the stage for some exciting things ahead. I just want to take a moment to personally thank all our new members for joining us, and to extend a thank you to our longtime members for sticking around and making this community what it is.
Seeing this space grow as we get closer to our 10-year anniversary honestly blows my mind. It’s been a wild, wonderful ride so far.
Here’s to an even better May!
Overall Recap
A TON happened in April, so, to the best of my ability, here's a monthly recap/catch up on what we did.
Welcoming New Members
In April, we extended a warm welcome to the newest additions to the Amaranth Legacy community, as well as a few returning faces.

New Scopes Added
In the month, several new creative universes have joined the Amaranth Legacy library!
Thanks to everyone who participated and brought the theme to life in so many creative ways. And congratulations to our winners!
Article Drive
April’s Article Drive saw a wide range of submissions from community members who set personal goals to create, update, or reformat content across the site. Whether it was developing entirely new pieces or improving older pages, contributors worked hard to meet their targets.
Thank you to everyone who participated in this Month's Article Drive!
Template & Tool Releases
April introduced a range of new templates and tools aimed at enhancing page formatting, interactivity, and design. The following finalized public templates are now available for general community use:
A newly designed, more compact Category Format was also released by Tess, offering a cleaner and more complete display of category contents.
In addition; Tess rolled out a revamped voting system for Monthly Article Challenges, streamlining how entries are evaluated and selected.
Finally: the Infobox Reformater was launched to assist with the repair and conversion of broken Fandom infoboxes and templates. Fixes for pages in both the Borealis Universe and Local Universe began in earnest at the start of May.
Other Notes
The second Monthly Community Drive took place in April, focusing on non-writing tasks that help maintain and improve the site. This round, titled the Housekeeping Drive, encouraged members to revisit and polish existing content. Several foundational pages were cleaned up by their respective authors—thank you to everyone who took part in keeping the site organized and up-to-date.
Our Minecraft server was relaunched on version 1.12.2 earlier in the month and saw some solid activity. However, we’ve decided to pause it until June, when we’ll resume on version 1.20 with a more stable and updated modpack.
— We’re looking forward to jumping back in with everyone once site work slows down; stay tuned!
