Salvatore Peroza

Salvatore Peroza, often just Sal, is a Mutated Bearded Dragon living in the abandoned GenoSys Headquarters in Orca Point, Oregon with his adopted siblings. He is the oldest of his siblings and the leader of their group. His mutation gifted him incredible brute strength

Physical Appearance

Sal has typical features of any non-mutated Bearded Dragon. Including a tan and brown patterning, with a white underbelly. His skin is covered in hundreds of small spikes including a “beard” of spikes on his chin which he can darken and puff up when he’s angry.

Personality

Sal is naturally kind and gentle. He gets extremely protective over his younger siblings, though he's not especially bright and in very rash.

History

Sal was born as a normal Bearded Dragon. Sometime soon after hatching, Sal was purchased by GenoSys, to be used as a lab animal for Project S.C.A.L.E. GenoSys exposed him to Primordial Ooze they had obtained hoping to transform him into an unstoppable super soldier. The Mutation process was successful, gifting him a humanoid body, heightened intelligence and extreme strength. GenoSys scientists then proceeded to perform many painful and cruel experiments on him to test his strength, durability and intelligence, as well as to simply understand his biology. When not being subject to experiments or efficiency tests, Sal was kept in an underground cell with several other mutants, both successes and failures. It was during this time when Alan Creck had snuck into the facilities upper levels, and had exposed the blatant animal cruelty that was being performed, the next day GenoSys began to 'clean up' all their work. This meant destroying any mutations they had created.

During the clean up, Sal managed to break out of his cell, and open many others, including those of Marley Payne, Solan and Mystax. He and a few others also had to fend off a wave of GenoSys Security Enforcers who were chasing after them. While he was doing so he stumbled upon three very young mutants, still in their eggs, that were just about to be terminated; a Ball Python, and two Day Geckoes. Feeling an overwhelming urge to protect the unborn little mutants he grabbed them in one of his arms, and continued to beat back any Security Enforcers who came at him. Finally, the five made it outside into the fresh air. Sal took the opportunity to run to find a temporary safe place. He quickly came to love the four little mutants he found, acting like a protective older brother, caring for them and making sure they were safe. They moved from place to place for a few years until they found a perfect spot that no human would find them in. Ironically it was the GenoSys Building, now abandoned since the company's bankruptcy soon after the exposé and clean up operation. For the next ten years Sal and his makeshift family lived in the GenoSys building. Until one day a construction crew arrived to demolish the building, not wanting his home destroyed or family hurt, Sal burst out of the building, attacking the workers, and destroying their equipment.

This naturally caught the attention of the DinoForce, who arrived at the demolition site. Sal overhearing a conversation between the team, was led to believe they had come to capture him and his family and send them to be experimented on. He fought against the squad and defeated them, sending them running out of the building.

Soon after Miguel Correia and a dozen officers from the Orca Point Police Department stormed the building and Sal proceeded to attack them too.

Skills and Abilities

Super Strength - Sal is freakishly strong, able to lift over one-hundred times his body weight with ease. He was easily able to toss an excavator several yards and crush metal in his bare fists.

Sal's favorite food is dandelions, he often goes out into the city at night just to collect them.
