Issued July / August 2025
By TheStellarExplorer, LordSkorne7, Tesinormed

Hello all! Due to circumstances beyond our control, unfortunately the monthly newsletter for July had been significantly delayed to the point that when our Newsletter Committee could work on it, August was almost over. Thus we had decided to wait till August was complete and post a larger 2-Month Newsletter. As such, this Newsletter will be split in two in accordance with the two months. Thanks for reading!''

Hello! I'm happy to say that Amaranth Legacy has been as lively as ever in July and August! We welcomed many new faces, shared new and old lore on our site, bid farewell to mMONTAGEe on his temporary leave, and more!

Let's hope that September is even better!

New Members

These months we have welcomed a great number of new members to our community:

Website

Article Drive

July Article Challenge

Since we had to postpone June's Article Challenge, the Article Challenge in July comes with a unique twist! Dual prompts: core lore and void zones! The former being anything necessary to the world, and the latter referring to any lore that is overlooked and appears insignificant.

Anyone could choose between them or even do both! In total, we received seven submissions:

Non-staff

Staff

Category Awards

Everyone determined the grand winner in a poll on our Discord server, in addition to the staff votes! Our winners are thus:

August Article Challenge

Sadly; our August Challenge wasn't able to conclude in the month as most weren't able to participate at that time, and as such, had to be postponed till September 15th.

Wishing good Luck to mMONTAGEe!

Our active and highly regarded member mMONTAGEe has been called forth for his country's mandatory conscription. As such, he will remain inactive for the next two years, leaving his Scope, Distant Worlds, to be maintained by TheStellarExplorer and ASmallerMolecule. Please wish him the best of luck!

Smoothie's new username!

One of our longest-standing community managers recently changed their username from CosmicSmoothie to SunlitSmoothie. This was done to avoid any unintentional conflicts their previous name was shared by another popular artist. If you wish to credit them in something on the site, they ask that you link to their new user page! Any existing mentions of them have already been mass-edited on the site.

New Silky Way settings!

One of the largest Scopes on the site, Silky Way, has recently seen a reclassification of many locations as settings in the lore! Each of them now come with their own unique template, color, and icon. The written ones are thus:

The full list can be seen in the Scope page!
