Amaranth Legacy Monthly Newsletter
By LordSkorne7
Hey everyone!
April was an absolutely incredible month for Amaranth Legacy, and I'm very proud to see how far we've come in so short a time. We welcomed so many wonderful new faces, shared tons of new content and stories, and set the stage for some exciting things ahead. I just want to take a moment to personally thank all our new members for joining us, and to extend a thank you to our longtime members for sticking around and making this community what it is.
Seeing this space grow as we get closer to our 10-year anniversary honestly blows my mind. It’s been a wild, wonderful ride so far.
Here’s to an even better May!

- Template:Appearing Text Effect by Skorne
- Interactable Maps by Tess
- Template:TerminalLook by mMONTAGEe
A newly designed, more compact Category Format was also released by Tess, offering a cleaner and more complete display of category contents.
In addition; Tess rolled out a revamped voting system for Monthly Article Challenges, streamlining how entries are evaluated and selected.
Finally: the Infobox Reformater was launched to assist with the repair and conversion of broken Fandom infoboxes and templates. Fixes for pages in both the Borealis Universe and Local Universe began in earnest at the start of May.
Other Notes
The second Monthly Community Drive took place in April, focusing on non-writing tasks that help maintain and improve the site. This round, titled the Housekeeping Drive, encouraged members to revisit and polish existing content. Several foundational pages were cleaned up by their respective authors—thank you to everyone who took part in keeping the site organized and up-to-date.
Our Minecraft server was relaunched on version 1.12.2 earlier in the month and saw some solid activity. However, we’ve decided to pause it until June, when we’ll resume on version 1.20 with a more stable and updated modpack.
— We’re looking forward to jumping back in with everyone once site work slows down; stay tuned!
Hey everyone!
We had an incredible May, and I’m thrilled to share some of the amazing things we accomplished. May holds particular significance, as it marks the ten-year anniversary of Amaranth Legacy!
Founded on May 15, 2025 by morbiusgreen, it’s truly mind-blowing how far we’ve come. And as we look toward the future, our community has never been more active, inspired, or excited to keep moving ever-onward; towards another ten years of creation, collaboration, and Amaranth Legacy!
Here’s to an even better June!
Ten-Year Anniversary
As mentioned above: May 28, 2025 marked the ten-year anniversary of Amaranth Legacy's founding by morbiusgreen. A history page is available at Amaranth Legacy:History which details the events that led up to the community being what it is now.

Ten more years!

New Scopes
In the month, several new creative universes have joined the Amaranth Legacy library!
Explore the latest additions from our community:
- Cosmological Constant by Henna
- Fire in the Sky by Ameoba
- Kite Comics by InterceptTomato
- Powerline Paranormal by sword-of-stabbing
- One-Shot by the Website Managers (Landing Page by Skorne)
Studio Namespace
We've expanded the range of content which you can put on the website; now, non-lore, non-narrative content can also be put in the Studio: namespace. For example, comics, essays, works meta to a Scope, and other non-normative works fit in the Studio: namespace.
Example
One-Shot Scope
This month, we expanded the site to include One-Shot articles; standalone settings, stories, or concepts that exist entirely within a single page. Designed for self-contained writings, One-Shots are perfect for creative experiments, speculative vignettes, or one-off worldbuilding ideas that don’t tie into larger universes.
Example
If this is later expanded on another page, replace this template with the appropriate Scope template.
Committee System Implementation
To help people focus and collaborate on specialized or Scope-specific tasks, we have implemented the Committee System. You may be a member of up to four Scope committees and four general committees at any time. To create a committee, you must have at least four total members (including yourself) who are interested and want to participate. Some examples of committes include the Template and Styling Committee, the Onboarding & Outreach Committee, the Cosmoria Committee, and the Silky Way Committee.
Template & Tool Releases
We've finalized and updated some templates for community member usage:
